Hi all, Went for a walk this morning in Sandy Lake Park (Hammonds Plains Road), as I am working 3-11pm for the man this week. Saw some Blue Jays mobbing something on the ground, and it was a Goshawk (M) with what looked like a Chickadee. I got to within about 30 ft of it, and watched it for about 10 mins. eating the birdie. It was struck a few times by the offending Jays, but didn't seem too bothered by it. It then ran a few feet through the woods, and flew off. All in all a great experience, a first for me. cheers, Gary Murray Bedfrod NS
