This evening a neighbour told me about a Blue Jay's nest which her
family has been observing. Their interest was first aroused when
they saw a Blue Jay carrying a wire cage such as is found on the top
of a champagne bottle. Later the bird was seen carrying plastic
cable ties. The nest, which is in a rhododendron, has many of these
plastic ties in it; they can't see what use was made of the champagne cage.

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
