This is posted on behalf of Donald Davis:

``...requesting first sightings of Monarch Butterflies, eggs and
caterpillars. These are requested by this writer, Monarch Watch and Journey
North.

This past week, migrating monarchs were reliably reported from Rainy River,
Ontario, and two reports from Winnipeg, Ontario. Hopefully the first
sightings will be reported soon from Nova Scotia.

So far, the monarchs have had excellent breeding and migration conditions in
Texas and along the central migration flyway.

Thank you

Donald A. Davis, U.E.
