I've been envious of all these reports of butterfly sightings. I finally saw my first Mourning Cloak of the year on Sunday, 23 May, in French Village along St. Margaret's Bay. It was a very faded individual, with beige/white borders. I have not seen a single Azure yet this spring, which is very unusual in my experience. Patricia L. Chalmers Halifax
