I took advantage of the weather yesterday evening to stop by Martinique Beach, my first visit this year. I was able to locate one, possibly two Piping Plovers feeding on the lower beach close to the water line. Both sightings were females, hence I can't exclude the possibility of the same individual showing itself in different locations (~1 km apart). I didn't check the sandy areas on the marsh side of the dunes. Ulli
