I spent some time Sunday mid afternoon on the saltmarsh trail.
Willets and Greater Yellowlegs were present in double digit numbers.
In the distance there was also a flock of at least a dozen of large
plovers, presumably Black-bellied, in full colors.
Didn't see an osprey, but the Bald Eagle nest visible from the third
bridge (counting from Bisset Lake tail head) has two mid size gray
downy hatchlings that were at times clearly visible.
At one point one of the parents dropped a Black Duck into the nest
but didn't further rip it up. So either did that happen later or the
chicks are old enough to stuff themselves.

Black-headed and Bonaparte gulls along with the other common gull
species were present as well.
