Here are a few assorted sightings from the past few days.

Smiley's Prov. Park, Hants County

Eastern Phoebes - nesting under the bridge over the Meander River
Northern Waterthrush - singing near the entrance to the campground
Red-eyed Vireos - several
Least Flycatchers - many
Chipping Sparrow
Cliff Swallow - with other swallows over a small pond on nearby Hwy 14

Herbert River Trail, off Route 215, just north of Brooklyn

Eastern Phoebes - nesting under the bridge over the Herbert River
Eastern Kingbird - at the start of the trail
Gray Catbird
Veery  (early)

Pockwock Watershed Road, HRM

An unidentified Elfin, and an early Ode, just emerged, and 
photographed in-hand.   I'll circulate the photos for IDs, and report back.

Annapolis Royal Marsh, Annapolis County

Tree Swallows -- a gratifying number, with nearly every nesting box occupied.
Bufflehead -- a late female
Northern Cardinal -- two singing males
Yellow Warbler -- 20+ singing males around the trail
Sora - one calling
Four broods of Canada Geese
Greater Yellowlegs - one migrant

Northern Mockingbird - a showy bird around the control gate for the 
tidal power plant on the causeway

Northern Cardinal -- at least 3 singing males in Granville Ferry.
