The gate was closed in February when Fiseries and Oceans Canada found it did not have a formal agreement with the Chebucto Head Lighthouse Society to have someone open and close the gate daily. A new agreement is being drawn up and the road is expected to be open when the deal is signed, said Dominique Gusset of the Society. (I hope the road will be fixed soon!) ------=_NextPart_000_000B_01CAF34A.78BBBF20 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.18904"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV>Wednesday, May 12, 2010 Chronicle Herald</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People confused by the closure of the access road to the Chebucto = Head=20 lighthouse outside Halifax will behappy to hear the road will soon be = open=20 again.
