Just want to report that we identified two sandhill cranes in a field at the rear of our home in Old Barns , Nova Scotia. We watched them for about twenty minutes betwen 5:30 and 6:00 PM this day, April 4, 2010. I realize that they are occasional visitors to this area but the only time I saw them before this was in Florida.
