Index of Subjects This evening, around 6:30 pm, Ann Doull saw the red bellied woodpecker in her backyard after 6 30 pm, her first since 2005. She didn't need my heads up that Ian McLaren sent out to NatureNS this morning. .................. Monday, May 03, 2010 10:29 AM Red-bellied Woodpecker, Halifax S. End All: Chris Helleiner has reported another male RED-BELLIWED WOODPECKER calling and excavating a cavity near the south end of Marlborough Ave. Assuming this is a different male from the one displaying near the Waegwoltic Club, maybe someone ought to import some females.
