On Saturday morning shortly after dawn in the eastern channel behind Conrad beach there was a large group of Cormorants actively feeding. They were interesting to watch especially when one would come up with a fish and a great deal of mobbing ensued. I was also impressed with the size of fish these birds are able to catch and swallow. However, the highlight was Sunday afternoon at the southern marsh at Conrod beach (Not Conrad) in East Chezzetcook when six GB Herons were there at the same time.
