No sign of them but = the weather was not especially good for them either. However, on the = return trip on the East Petpeswick Rd, I discovered another Little Blue = Heron when I stopped to look at a Great Blue Heron. Both birds were = feeding near the shore of Petpeswick Inlet just south of municipal lot = 910 - there is a small white cottage on the left side of the road = directly opposite of the bird's location this afternoon. Approximate = GPS coordinates are: N 44.44.626 and W 063.08.998 (or, at least that's = what my Garmin GPS says, if I can believe it!) When I approached the GB Heron, the Little Blue Heron surprised me when = he flew off to some nearby trees. I got a couple of pictures of him in = the tree but not great quality due to the complexity of tree branches. = After a while he took flight again and flew around the corner. I did = manage to get some good pics of him in flight.
