There was also a sharp-shinned hawk hanging around, and a variety of other songbirds (both kinglets, hermit thrush, robin, chickadees, gold- and purple finches, juncos and song sparrows). Also, last night we had a woodcock doing its display flights, and a barred owl calling. And yesterday afternoon, we had our first kestrel of the year.
