Putting one or two feeders up -now or in the next few days would be
good timing- and growing appropriate flowering plants in your garden
is pretty much all that can be done.
What flowers are attractive for hummers and native to the area can be
found in a number of hummingbird books and on various websites. Bee
balm is high up on their hit list.

On South Mountain in the Valley they can be expected in the first
week of May, individuals show up one or sometimes two weeks before that.
