The farm to which Tuma is referring is no doubt the Rooyakkers chicken
farm. I have frequented this area from time to time for many years and
have observed approx. 60 to 100 Bald Eagles at a time in the vicinity
when the farmer is culling chickens or whatever they do. Also Red-tailed
and Sharp-shinned hawks and numerous other bird species. This is an
interesting birding area comprising among others, meadow and marsh
habitat - snipe, kestrel, sparrows etc at appropriate times. Also have
seen and heard coyotes in the area. David Johnston, Port Hawkesbury
