Hi all, I went through Sandy Lake Park (near Bedford) late this afternoon on my mtn. bike and saw a R.B. Nuthatch chasing and "mobbing" a Hairy W.P. It kept flitting it's wings about and was clearly very agitated. I wonder if the Hairy inadvertently was scouting out the same tree for nesting posibilities? Have never seen that before, every day in the woods brings something new. cheers, Gary Bedford NS
