It doesn't sound good for seeing any Monarchs this summer, judging by reports coming out of the (shrinking) wintering grounds in Mexico, decimated by winter storms that killed more than 50 people, and even rained 2" hail on the beleaguered Monarchs: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/environment/2010-03-30-Monarchs30_ST_N.htm
