Wolfville Ridge:

Purple Finches (3f, 2m) finally arrived here in the week and now today's
mixture of snow (2-5cms) and rain brought in sparrows.

Delighted to see FOX Sparrows (2) among a mixed flock of Song Sparrows (5),
Juncos (12) and Am Goldfinches (30+) that flew in to feed this afternoon.

Bernard Forsythe reports having an American Woodcock around his property (
.75 km east of us) in the past couple of days and his Barred Owl pair now
have one egg in the nest as of Mar 24.

Cheers,

Judy Tufts
