I have a robin around the place today - I think it is eating rose
seed.
Birds are scarce at my feeders this year - probably because I was in
the hospital a month and the feeders have been neglected. I have had a flock
of about 14 goldfinch, chicadees every day, the occasion small flock of
white breasted sparrows, one house finch and one purple finch, a couple of
downy woodpeckers (male and female), and no unusual birds. Nice to see a
robin around.

Roland.
