Many of us wish we could =20 see it, but also respect wishes of property owner. But for the sake =20 of the Bird Society records, it is important to have the identity and =20= sex if possible confirmed, as well as its dates of occurrence and =20 whether or not it may have successfully overwintered. I inquired =20 privately to Virginia about whether it had been confirmed by someone =20 known to be experienced with varied thrushes. She did say an =20 experienced birder had confirmed it, but did not name that person -- =20 I hope a note has been sent to whomever writes up the thrushes in =20 Nova Scotia Birds, so that this occurrence will get appropriately =20 documented. It would also be nice if possible to get a photo or two, =20= even distantly. Too much to hope for?
