Hi Joan et al,

Don MacLaughlin and I toured the spots which have had recent Dovekie sightings on Sat PM. We dipped out at East and West Pennant but had success at Sambro. From the main large wharf, using the scope at 60X zoom, we saw one Dovekie beyond the farthest buoy (it's green I believe). Also noted, of course, were umpteen Black Guillemots, 2 Surf Scoters (much closer in) and several C. Loons.

Cheers,

Bob McDonald

P.S. Saw your crow pre-roost at dusk last evening on our way home from our hike along the trails to Blue Mountain and Stillwater Run.

Joan Cz and I went on a Dovekie hunt this am and were not successful. We did all the stops from the Dingle out to West Pennant and nada. If anyone else has any luck would they post the location

  Thanks

  JoanW
