  The next presentation of the Pictou Co. Naturalists Club will be Tues.
Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the New Glasgow Library program room. Our guest speakers
will be 3  St FX honours Biology students who will speak on some of their
research on a nice variety of topics.

  Ruth Patten - What's biting me? The diversity of Horse and Deer Flies and
their feeding height preferences.


  Lindsey Beals - The structure and microhabitat of Common Loon nests in
Kejimkujik National Park and surrounding area.


  Amanda Lowe - Canopy burials, habitat and microhabitat preferences of Nova
Scotia's Burying Beetles.
