Hi all,

At Hartlen Pt this morning, two Rough-legged Hawks (one dark phase
near the point, one light phase over Devil's Island), a male harrier,
a flicker in Back Cove, c. 6 pipits at the north end of the harbour
shore. Snow Buntings at McCormack's Beach, right by the parking lot.

At Pt Pleasant Park this afternoon, seven Purple Sandpipers at the
tip, and (as reported earlier by others) a male Barrow's Goldeneye
well into Purcell's Cove yet readily identifiable from the arm side of
the park.

Despite fairly diligent search, no luck (yet ...) on the following:
Thayer's Gull (Hartlen), Yellow-breasted Chat (Romkey Drive, Eastern
Passage), King Eider (Pt Pleasant).

Cheers,
Andy Horn (with several other folks)
Halifax
