Check your TV listings for tonight, at least via the Arts & Life
section of today's Chronicle Herald. On Thursday nights there are
often 2 episodes of The Nature of Things, and that seems to be true
again tonight. At 8 p.m. on the regular CBC-TV channel (03 in the
Valley, 11 in HRM?), the listing says "a rare glimpse into the inner
life of the common crow" -- I've seen this show about the learning
ability of crows.

And at 11 p.m. on Newsworld channel (50 in Valley, 29 in HRM?), the
listing says "The decline of bee colonies" -- I presume this is the
"To Bee or Not to Bee" show that Dave McCorquodale told us about last
week, and is an up-do-date look at what has been happening to honey
bee colonies for about 3 or 4 years now, but without any firm answers
yet about known causes?

Anyway, in the future keep checking these two channels, including the
afternoons on weekends, but especially on Thursday, Saturday, and
Sunday evenings, and they keep replaying recent episodes in
subsequent weeks after their first release dates.

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville, who watches far too much TV and has
never gotten disciplined about what to watch and what not to watch!
Happy viewing and taping?
