Sandhill Crane Update
Derek Crosby of Centre Burlington informed that the last time he and Barb
saw a pair of Sandhill Cranes was Tuesday, January 5th. They did not see
the cranes yesterday (Wednesday). The cranes would take off almost every
morning (8-8:30 am) and head NW (towards Summerville). Derek thinks the
cranes will return once the snow on the corn fields thaws. He will let me
know if the cranes show up.
