Yesterday and today there has been a female pheasant in the neighbourhood. I believe someone mentioned a pheasant in the city within the last few weeks. The first sighting it was ~15' up in a tree with a cat ~5' up a neighbouring tree. I think the cat had dreams of really impressing the family by bringing home pheasant for dinner! No such luck!
