After literally months of only one or two Goldfinch at the feeder, today there's an influx and I counted 34 of them. A nice Christmas present!

Suzanne, Boutiliers Point, NS

.......................

We had one goldfinch visiting here through most of last week, then two; yesterday 3 and today there appear to be number more! Otherwise pretty quiet with a few chickadees, starlings, mourning doves, jays and sparrows: song, white throats, American tree, chipping and the clay colored and a fox sparrow. Junco numbers are definitely rising. So far I haven't seen either shrike nor hawk.
Marg Millard, White Point, Queens.
