Yesterday morning I had to make a run to Lunenburg. On the way at First So=
uth I counted=2C

127 Canada Geese

81 Mallards

70 Greater Scaup

71 Common Goldeneye

1 Ring-necked Duck

72 Red-breasted Mergansers

31 Hooded Mergansers

=20

Definitely a nice group of waterfowl.

=20

Dorothy Poole and I took a run in the afternoon. Birds of note were three =
Sanderlings at Kingsburg Beach. 18 ring-necked ducks at Romkey's Pond King=
sburg. Best observed from Upper Kingsburg looking down into the backside. =
We had a big flock of boreal chickadees at Upper Kingsburg. At Sand Dolla=
r Beach=2C Conrad's Island Beach in Lower Rose Bay we had three black-heade=
d gulls. More Black-headed gulls were at Back Harbour Lunenburg. =20

Also at Sand Dollar Beach=2C Conrad's Island were three red-necked grebes a=
nd two horned grebes.
