Thanks to all who attended the field trip. The day was very slow as there we=
re not many birds reported to go looking for so we had to try and find our =
own.It is going to be very hard to beat last years list. For awhile it looke=
d like we were going to have a bigger head count of birders than birds.27 p=
eople including myself and only 53 species of birds.

Highlights include:

orange crowned warbler(Coburg Rd.)

black and white warbler(Birchdale)

thick billed murre(back cove Hartlen Point)

killdeer(golf coarse Hartlen Point)

7 black headed gulls(Hartlen Point)

northern cardinal(Sullivan's Pond and Clifford Dr.)

3 swamp sparrows(Dorthea Dr.)

red necked grebe and red throated loon(Eastern Passage Harbour)

GO BIRDING=2C
