All:

Fulton Lavender just heard about an Empidonax Flycatcher seen yesterday by
Dennis Garrat Hartlen Pt., near the s.e tip of "Back Cove." Despite the
weather, it might be worth seeking tomorrow when the sun warms things up a
little.

As many will be aware, Empidonacx Flycatchers at this time o year in the East
are likely to be one of the western species as one of the eastern ones
-"Western," Gray, Hammond's and Dusky have all been seen latte fall and early
winter in New England and E. Canada - the last some years ago in NS.

If you do see it, photos and careful notes (including especially on call notes)
would be invaluable for tricky i.d. purposes.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
