It was lurking in the multiflora bramble over our backyard pond. Also, of interest, two Ruffed Grouse have been in the same bramble eating multiflora berries for several days. The Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher was last seen on Saturday at Duncan's Cove but with this crummy weather it will be harder to find if it's still around. Like most late fall birds a bright morning sun is a much preferred circumstance.
