Hi:
We travelled from Kingston to Port George arriving about 1500.
Enroute:
Wiswal Bk. in Melvern Square:
30 adult=2C breeding=2C Mallards=2C there seemed to be an equal number of e=
ach gender
=20
Phinney's Pond=2C Victoria Vale:
59 Canada Geese=2C 1 Porcupine in a field east of the Pond
=20
Mosher's Corner:
1=2C male Ring-necked Pheasant=2C 2 Red-tailed Hawks

Port George: High Tide 1646

We set up our scope near the light house.
1 Red-necked Grebe=2C 12 Harlequins=2C 6m=2C 6f=2C 1 Black-legged Kittiwake=
=2C Gulls were all off shore=2C light winds=2C few gulls in flight. From ou=
r position at the PG Light House=2C gulls were apparent for=2C as far as we=
 could see=2C in both directions along the shore.

=20

Barbara drew my attention to a single adult=2C male=2C nonbreeding Snow Bun=
ting=2C on a rock just at the edge of the lawn. It seems to be enjoying th=
e warmth of what was left of the sun. After approx. 10 mins. it flew a shor=
t distance and began to forage in the grass=2C it seemed vigorous and was s=
uccessful at finding something to eat!

We did not proceed beyond the light house.

Cheers=2C Barbara and Pat=20
