I'm back from a very pleasant vacation in Italy, and in the last 24 hrs.I

N.Pintail -- 4 or 5 males at Canard Pond
Hooded mergansers -- About 30 at Silver Lake, Lakeville, but no Canada geese
with them this morning
Red-tails and Bald Eagles - the usual few soaring around the area
Shorebirds - 8 species at Grand Pre this afternoon, including ~ 100 Dunlin,
~30 White-rumped sandpipers, 5-6 Am.Golden Plover in a field, and another
together with a Black-bellied on the rocks, 2 Hudsonian Godwits
LBB Gulls - 1 in a field on Middle Dyke Rd., 1 at Grand Pre
Passerines - The usual Blue Jays, W-B Nuthatches, B-C Chickadees etc., and
