where are the birds when the ants lift off? all along the west southwest side of my house the ground is shivering with thousands of ants crawling out of hole sand drying their wings and lifting off. The poor little tailless sparrow that was out there seems to be hiding in the grape vine. Nothing else in sight. I have seen ants lift off before but never so many and so many sizes!
