Hi,

I find it fascinating to read the small print about these storms, and to
follow their tracks on the various weather web sites. Most of them
eventually point to the NOAA storm/ hurricane info., and what they're
currnetly saying is that the Bill is now becoming less organised, although
before it reaches cooler waters (i.e. ours) the wind strength could increase
again. But because of the low over the Great Lakes Bill is likely to veer
off on more NE-erly track by the time it is in our vicinity, and as the
heaviest rain is generally to the west, and the strongest winds to the east,
NS is likely to see a lot of rain, and perhaps not such violent winds. I
would guess that late Monday or Tues. off the Canso area would be the best
time to look for Tropicbirds, Sooty Terns, Bermuda Petrels etc.. Anyway,
lets hope that people and birds remain safe, and that we are all well
prepared for whatever comes our way!

Richard
