Hi;
Saw the Imm Yellow-crowned Night Heron by the Sambro Firehall yesterday, Sunday, Aug.16th at about 1:45 pm.
It seems to be moving around a bit. It flew out from behind a rock and straight towards us as we stood at the edge of the cleared dirt piles by the side of the firehall. We watched it for about 10 minutes, took pictures, then it flew away from us towards where we parked our car (the pull-off across from the ballfield. We watched it again before getting back into the car, then it flew further down the inlet (East) towards Sambro Harbour near the foot of the Old Sambro Road, Rte #306.
