Fun story for you all,

Saturday morning came early this week; just after sunrise I was rudely
woken up by a really loud hammering sound... I looked out of my window
because the sound felt like it was real close, and there, just about 8
feet from my head were two young flickers sitting on the roof, one of
them hammering away at the rain gutter, the other just standing by. They
hung around for a good ten or fifteen minutes; it was a real treat to
see them so close up.

The babies are growing up! Must be getting close to time to head South
for the winter.

Cheers, Noel Taussig
