Subject: [NatureNS] wild turkeys port l'hebert

Hello.

My friend was driving the roads of Port L'hebert and came across some odd
looking birds that seemed vaguely familiar.

As he got closer he realized they were turkeys.

As someone who has within the last year moved to NS from Alberta, he was
unsure if there was a population of wild turkeys in NS.

I have four different pics. of the birds if someone would like to see them
and comment on them.

There was recently a thread on naturens regarding turkey populations which a
I sent to him, but I don't remember what all was said.

Thanks in advance,

Angela
