I was watching a flock of Herring Gulls with the odd GBB among them sitting on the rocks at the point in Morden when there was a great kerfuffle and they all scattered. A Peregrine Falcon (thanks, Pat) landed where the gulls were. He sat for a while then decided the gulls were too sharp for him and left. The one picture shows him in pre-takeoff. There was also a Merlin flying around. I first spotted him a surprisingly long way out on the water, he made repeated (unproductive) dives toward the water before heading back toward the woods. Slightly out-of-focus, but the best quick shots of the Falcon I could get, are at the link. Gary Myers
