This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_ehLqXavMvqVthFN63gY2pw) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT I've uploaded 17 photos to my June 09 Highlights page at Pbase. The cover photo for the month is the Canada Warbler, followed by several other examples of this bird which all suffer from the poor photographic conditions at the time the pictures were taken. Morning sunshine continues to elude me. Yesterday, Laura and I had our evening walk at Sandy Cove Road, HRM, interrupted by a Black Bear who was quite unconcerned by our presence. It looked to be about 150-200 lbs, perhaps a second year bear. It was tracking toward Bald Rock Road so on our continued evening tour we stopped to warn a couple walking their dog along Bald Rock Road. They also wisely turned around. I grew up in British Columbia where folks were annually killed or injured by Black Bear attacks, including one horrific story of three teenage girls who were discovered and then tracked by a black bear who caught and killed them in turn. I have a lot of respect for this predator.
