Hi All,
=A0
The Gray Catbird is still present here in my yard. I see it=A0& hear it's b=
eautiful song every day.
Anyone who might be interested=A0can certainly come by to see it. All I do =
is stand in=A0my backyard, close to the back=A0and start whistling in a 'bi=
rdy'=A0kind of way & it just starts singing away. It is generally to the fa=
r right in amongst the bushes & very often is in the dogwood tree.. As=A0we=
are often at work, folks can just go down the right side of our house to g=
et to the back.=20
=A0My backyard=A0will be going through abit of a=A0transformation in the ne=
xt little while. So much of the rambling rose back there=A0has just got to =
go! Not all, but alot, as I don't have much backyard left as it has taken o=
ver so much of it! Am planning to put in types of plants, grasses=A0and shr=
ubs that will attract birds year-round, but with more open area that is ;fr=
iendly' (rambling rose sure isn;t!) =A0to humans=A0& my=A0springer (-vet bi=
lls due to a scratched cornea=A0afflicted from=A0chasing (I assume) cats th=
at=A0are often=A0hunkered down in there, as well as, I'm sorry to say, rats=
, that I've also seen there)=A0Suffice to say,=A0my springer=A0is a sportin=
g breed with a=A0normal prey drive,=A0but also, she is=A0a show-dog, so tha=
t makes it worse!=A0
