Hi Rachel et al

I told myself to report a bird that I could not identify but know it is
different. If in doubt, go ahead and report it. I had such one experience
with a rare bird near St Mary's Boat Club in Halifax some years ago. It was
a strange warbler which I could not identify so I reported it and asked
people to come take a look at it. Guess what? It turned out to be a
McGillivray Warbler, a first in Nova Scotia! Therefore, please do not
hestitate to report any strange bird, which may end up as a gem. Cheers,
liz
