Don and I watched from our deck last night an adult Bald Eagle chasing an Osprey. It came very close to catching the Osprey, and probably would have done so, had it not been for 2 Crows which kept attacking the Eagle and eventually drove it off. The event occurred close to the traditional Osprey nest site, so I suppose the Osprey may have been trying to lure the Eagle away from its nest. Lois Codling L. Sackville
