Spent a wonderful night in one of my Colchester squares last Sat.. Several woodcock, toads, peepers and woodfrogs heard. Second stop the CD brought in two very curious Barred Owls. Nice bright night but not bright enough for photos. Only thing else of interest were two more distant Barred owls heard two hours later.
Monday I took Kathy and our son Noah out to the first site before dark and sure enough the owls were there and still curious. All three of us got beautiful views but the CD was cause for concern for Noah :O)
I added a couple of their picts and a few other new pictures in my "In Box" on my pbase site http://www.pbase.com/jogden

Also I would like to sincerely thank everyone who recommended Cuba's Paulino Delgado as a birding guide. We spend an amazing half day with him while Kathy and I were in Cayo Coco last month. I finally have those pictures also on my pbase site...though not all the captions are in yet.
