At noon I checked on the Port Williams sewage ponds, and found there a big flock of perhaps 150 SWALLOWS. Most of them were TREE SWALLOWS, and many of those were brown-plumaged yearlings. Perhaps 15 or more were BARN SWALLOWS. Viewing conditions were less than ideal, and no other swallows were detected. Ducks present included 2 m,f pairs of RING-NECKED DUCKS and 2 male MALLARDS.
