Way to go Dorothy!
All I need is a pileated....I had a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker again the other
day, briefly, but haven't seen it since. Guess that gives me five but not
all here at once. ..so far.
nothing blue or pretty red either.

I have been waiting all winter for all five to show up in one day. I have
had a male Red-bellied Woodpecker daily and sporadically a Pileated and
Northern Flicker but the latter two seemed to always show up on alternate
days. Finally it happened yesterday with the Pileated, Red-bellied, Northern
Flicker, Downy and Hairy all visiting. I also heard the first Kingfisher and
now am listening to the first lawn mower. Back to the yard to see if
anything blue shows up.
