Join Halifax Field Naturalists at the N.S. Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer Street at 7:30, as long time HFN member Shirley McIntyre shares the experience of her two week hike in the Bernese Oberland Swiss Alps in July, 2008. The numerous hikes at different elevations provided the opportunity to see a great variety of wild flowers and enjoy the glory of the mountains. This hiking trip included the Alletsch Glacier which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Please contact 453-9244 if further information is required.
