It was first seen March 14th and last seen on April 16th. Well, guess what?! This evening at my feeders, where Pat is trying to grow back some lawn on the bare ground, there was a very similar- looking adult WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW! And it looks the same, with dark lores, as the one seen earlier. Also present were 2+ white- throated sparrows, 5 pheasants (cock with 4 hens), 3 bl.-c. chickadees, and 2 starlings. I also found out that yesterday Wendy & Bob McDonald saw 3 CARDINALS (1m,2f), and they also heard songs of the cardinal and white-throated sparrows, from the back deck of our house in Wolfville.
