All:

Additions to this latest wave of "overshoots" (which seem to first hit us
yestrday during wet se-sw winds), were an adult male Rose-breasted Grosbeak and
a young male Blue Grosbeak photo'd today by Hughie Manthorne in W. Bickerton,
Guys., and a pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks seen this morning by Dave Currie,
Azor Viennau and me at Portuguese Cove, HRM.

I haven't yet looked closely the meteorological setup prior the latest wave, but
the arrivals following similar weather on 3 and 7 April appear to have been
brought directly from the e. Gulf of Mexico, where there were large waves of
the birds occurred on the days before our birds appeared, and strong migration
across the n FL and the Carolinas on the night of 3-4 April, at least.

Cheers, Ian McLaren
