Hi All; I posted the following directions to Sandy Cove Road on the NS Rare Bird Alert, but it seems a good idea to pass it to NatureNS as well. Go to the following site: http://maybank.tripod.com/BSNS/HRM.htm#L and then go down to L6, Sandy Cove Road. Click on the Mapquest links, and there is a google earth view link as well. Most well-known birding sites are listed in this manner on the support web site for my "Birding Sites of Nova Scotia" book, so if you see a site listed on NatureNS with which you are unfamiliar, try checking the web site: http://maybank.tripod.com/BSNS Sites are listed with mapquest coordinates within each county.
